NORTH SNAKE GROUND WATER DISTRICT
Discharge measurements on 1/3 of the systems proceeded without problems in North Snake GWD. The start was a little slow due to the temperature and the rain in May. No complaining about the precipitation is allowed.
Many irrigators received letters from the IDWR requiring in-line flow meters. Many meters have been installed. Calibrations were conducted on most of the new meters. WWC will be reading all the meters in November after the irrigation season.
Monthly water level measurements are continuing. The high rains in May and June with the added flow through the canals (big thanks to NSCC) has reversed the slope of the water levels. In most areas the wells are up 1-2 feet.
